Nice food, nice beer and a lovely place to have lunch after a bracing walk up Rodney's Pillar.

Great hospitality and home cooked food. We called last minute to see if they could accommodate 7 of us for a meal and the laddy who answered was very warm and lovely. We had a great meal and were stuffed afterwards!

If we could give the horse shoe inn 5 stars plus, then i would. Friendly and helpful and pleasent , Nia and Paul and there daughter made us so welcome. We are staying for 5 days. Our room is super and the meals are really good. The locals have made us so welcome we enjoyed the evenings It's a oldly worldly inn, with some quirky signs around the walls. Will diffently recommend to others. We have returned this year. Nia and Paul have been decorating the bedrooms and the dining room area it all looks really nice. They are a lovely couple who make you very welcome. Breakfasts and evening meals have good choices and are cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

Stopped on the way back from Manchester with one of our dogs. Very friendly staff and locals. Super fast service, good food and gorgeous Bailey's cheesecake and good portion sizes.

We called in without booking and they were able to squeeze us in for Sunday lunch despite being fully booked already. The food was absolutely superb - perfectly cooked, lovely fresh ingredients, and the service from everyone was impeccable. We may be over 230 miles from home, but we will definitely return when we are next in the area. The car park was full and we can see why!

My husband and l were on a journey from Haverfordwest to Cheshire and stopped for lunch at The Horseshoe Inn at Arddleen for lunch. It was without doubt the best pub lunch l have ever tasted. I had roast turkey with stuffing, pigs in blankets and Allen had pork beef and turkey. All very tasty and served with mash potatoes, roast potatoes, parsnip, carrot, beans and cauliflower and broccoli cheese. Everything cooked to perfection. I followed my main course with the tastiest Irish Cream cheesecake. I consider myself something of a connoisseur of cheesecakes and this was definitely beyond compare! Staff were warm and friendly. Will definitely eat there again and would recommend the place to royalty.
